Structural Steel.
Pinnacle Resources partners with offshore fabricators in Thailand and China who provide high-quality specialised steel fabrication and grating products and are focused on delivering excellent quality and services to various industries all over the world..
They hold several international accreditations including:

ISO 14001 (Environmental Management standard;
ISO 3434.2 (Welding Quality Management standard);
CE accreditation;
ISO 9606 (Welder Qualification Standard);
AWS/IIW certified;
BS EN 1090 accreditation (fabrication standard).
All welding and fabrication activities are carried out to a very high standard that complies with the requirements of AS/NZS 1554, and AS/NZS 5131.
All welding and inspection activities, as defined in ISO 14731 and ISO 3834, are controlled by a responsible welding coordinator who is certified by the International Institute of Welding (IIW).
How we do it.
Design and Constructability Review.
We work with clients to review designs and provide constructability advice. Drawing on our knowledge gained through previous projects we can assess designs and highlight factors that will influence the final cost, offering alternatives where appropriate. Our early engagement, during the design phase, will help you find the most cost competitive way to procure and deliver your next project.
Detailing.
Pinnacle Resources offers full 3D modelling and detailing services using Tekla Structures software. Our detailing team take the design drawings and Revit model to create a 3D model and associated component drawings that are used for fabrication and coordination with other trades.
Fabrication.
We offer full steel fabrication services through our fabrication partners. All steel components are manufactured using quality fabricators. This ensures components meet the required specification and fit on site. All steel sections are sourced from reputable mills and suppliers then cut, drilled and welded into transportable sections. Fabrication in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS 5131: 2016 and or EN1090-2.
Steel Compliance.
We engage reputable third-party inspectors and test laboratories to verify the steel is certified to the required specification and we can trace every steel component back to a material test certificate.
Weld Quality.
We have processes to ensure welding is performed in accordance with an approved weld procedure (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) and we can trace individual welds back to an individual qualified welder. Weld quality management is in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 3834-2.
We engage suitably qualified third-party welding personnel to review the welding process and qualifications and inspect welds in accordance with the inspection and testing plan.
All welding and fabrication activities are carried out to a very high standard that complies with the requirements of AS/NZS 1554, and AS/NZS 5131.
Surface Protection.
Pinnacle Resources offers full surface protection services through our partners, including blasting, painting and hot-dip galvanizing. All surface protection service is provided by specialist industrial galvanizing and painting companies with the capacity, experience and quality control required to apply coatings to our fabricated components.
Transport and Logistics.
Full transport and logistics services are offered through our global partners. All components are packaged, labelled and transported to the site allowing full traceability throughout the delivery process.
Material & Traceability.
All steel is sourced from reputable steel mills with factory production control processes in place that ensure the steel is manufactured to a consistent standard of quality. All steel material is supplied with type 3.1 EN 10204 with steel mill certificates.
Pinnacle Resources offers full traceability services to track material from the mill, through the fabrication process to the site. This ensures that all components meet the specified requirements.
Site Installation.
Pinnacle Resources offers fully integrated site installation services, including structural steel, precast concrete panels and components, and composite flooring decking systems. Our strong health and safety culture and safe yet efficient work practices ensure that work gets "done right".
Quality.
A project-specific quality management plan (QMP) and inspection and test plan (ITP) are developed for each project. At the completion of each project, we provide Quality Assurance documentation and Manufacturer Data Reports (MDR) to demonstrate compliance with the specified requirements.
